Karla "with a k" and Beth Johnston Ill both worked at this campground during their high school years when it was known as Camp Mahn-Go-Tah-See. Since then it has been sold and is now known as The Loon Lake Lutheran Retreat Center.
Karla has a new found love for hammock camping and her original idea was to host a hammock hang, but when the cabins were offered as an option to rent, she expanded the invitation list to include anyone. Karla reached out to former camp staff members and Beth Johnston Ill volunteered to helped organize the weekend also.
