Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come for the day and not camp overnight?  Yes, you can! The day rate is $5 per person.  4 years and younger are free.

How do we pay??  To pay Karla: 1. click this link: paypal.me/karlamarykay  2. This option is free to you and me if you use your paypal funds or bank account.  3. If you choose to use a credit card, the rate is: 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction (the sender "you" decides who pays this fee) - you must select yourself. Karla should receive the full amount.

Do we need to bring our own plates, cups, silverware for meals?  Yes, you do!

​

Will the event be cancelled if there is rain or bad weather?  Nope. Just pray for good weather.

​

Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?  Yup. If you paid via paypal, all your fees will be returned.

Can I bring my pet?  Yes, but only if leashed & you pick up its poop. Otherwise, get a pet sitter. And we do not consider husbands to be pets, you need to bring them. LOL!

​

Can I bring alcohol?  Yes, if you are over 21, consume responsibly and share with Beth & Karla "with a k".

​

Since this is a private religiously owned campground, will I be forced to pray or read from the Bible?   Nope, but you might overhear Karla "with a k &" and Beth sing camp songs off key. We apologize in advance for that.

Can I fish in Loon Lake & what types of fish might I catch?    Yes, with a valid Michigan fishing license. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye and Yellow Perch. This lake is 417 acres in size. It is approximately 128 feet deep at its deepest point.
 

I heard that Kidd Rock, Uncle Kracker and Bachelor Bob have cabins on Loon Lake, might I see them? Nope, you heard wrong. They have cabins on different lakes than Loon Lake, but have been spotted in the area.
