important direction info

Hale, Michigan has one stop light in the center of town.  Camp will be just over two miles north from the stoplight.

It is VERY easy to fly by the entrance to camp, so look at your odometer closely.  Once you are two miles beyond the light, slow down.

The camp entrance will be just over that big hill on the left hand side of the road.

IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS

At the entrance, there is a public boat launch. (If you'd like to bring your boat)

Look for this large blue sign on the West side M-65.

I highly recommend stopping to enjoy the Loon Lake Nature Park.

This is a fairly new addition for our community.

If you don't stop here on the way in, then plan to do so during the weekend.   There are picnic tables which would make a great location for Saturday's lunch.

The highlight is the boardwalk leading to Mud Lake.

Also, there is a fresh water hand pump so you can fill up water containers.

As you drive into camp, drive very slowly in this area.

This section of the road is narrow and this upcoming turn and hill is steep and on a curve!

You will drive under the walking bridge and turn left to the Seaholm Lodge (pronounced Sea-home).

Additional parking is to the right at the Jim Rice Dining Lodge.

Park wisely. We have a large number of vehicles and a small lot. No parking pass necessary to enter this camp.

Parking is free!

Carpool if you can (to save the environment & stuff).

Once you park, head to Seaholm Lodge.

You will find Beth and/or Karla "with a k" nearby.

You will also be able to put your food items in the fridge.
